A Stray Kitten Changed Color and Approached Me, Gaining Ten Times Its Weight Two Years After Being Rescued

At first glance, the small kitten looked like an orange fluff splashed with dirty water. Its fur was sticky and matted, giving off a yellowish tint. Meowing loudly, it tried to follow passersby, seeking attention. Locals brought it food and water, and the kitten cautiously retreated to a corner to eat and use the bathroom.

One kind girl decided to help. While cleaning the kitten’s fur, she noticed that the color was coming off, revealing a surprising silver-white coat underneath. She and her friend took the kitten to a pet hospital. The vet discovered the poor kitten was covered in a sticky yellowish substance, weighed only 1.5 kg, and suffered from severe ringworm and ear mites. Despite its condition, the kitten remained calm and affectionate.

The girl named the kitten Lazai and took it home. She gave it daily medicinal baths and provided nutritious meals, hoping to nurse it back to health. Lazai responded well, gradually warming up to its new home. Although the ringworm spread initially, the girl patiently shaved its fur in affected areas and continued treatment. Over time, Lazai’s skin healed, and its fur began to grow back beautifully.

The girl treated Lazai as if it were her own child. She even planted cat grass for it and cooked special meals, like boiled chicken breast. Lazai’s transformation was remarkable. Once thin and weak, it became energetic and full of life. It enjoyed playing hide-and-seek, munching on cat treats, and kneading happily on the couch.

Under the girl’s care, Lazai grew healthier and chubbier. Its scars disappeared, and its face became fuller, radiating contentment. Though it shed fur frequently, the girl cleaned diligently, ensuring Lazai’s comfort. Compared to the stray cats outside, Lazai was truly lucky. It had found love and security at its lowest point.

As time passed, Lazai became the heart of the household. It celebrated its second birthday with a warm family gathering. The girl and her family treated it as one of their own, capturing precious moments on camera. Thinking back to the scruffy kitten they had first met, Lazai’s transformation felt nothing short of a miracle.
