It was a cold and windy evening when a group of friends was walking home along a quiet street in the city. The air was crisp, and the streets were almost empty, save for a few people rushing to get to their destinations. As they passed an alleyway, something unusual caught their attention. There, in the shadows near the curb, was a small cat, curled up and shivering from the chill. What stood out was not just her emaciated body, but the thick piece of duct tape wrapped tightly around her neck.
